The Harley Hammerman Collection of Eugene O’Neill consist of manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, website, and other materials related to the life and work of playwright Eugene O’Neill. Along with first editions of the playwright’s works located in Rare Books, the collection features autograph and typed letters written by O’Neill to significant cultural figures, handwritten manuscripts and typescripts, photographs of O’Neill and his immediate family and friends, and rare handbills, posters, scripts, recordings, films, and promotional books related to productions of his plays. This collection contains copies of websites documenting the web presence of Washington University in St. Louis. University Archives began archiving websites under the wustl.edu domain in February 2014. In July 2022, the collection was supplemented with a Waybackfill of all the archived data between 1996 and 2014 available in the Internet Archive's global Wayback Machine. This backfill provides collection users with seamless access to a fuller range of archived Washington University web content, although older captures have not been reviewed for quality.
